Its never goodbye

I try to live by those words. Its never goodbye...only until we meet again. So as we are on the dawn of a new navy "adventure" as we count down the last few days together. We have "storied" to Jonathon and hopefully he will take this easier than I am anticipating. James and Marin are older. They can understand a bit more than he can. But we will see the ship leave and that will help him remember that dad's not just at duty. He wont be home for a long time. So...we have to walk the walk once more. Many have gone before us and we have walked this path too. It never gets easier...NEVER...and if it does...there is a problem.
