Age is just a number....I always assumed that 40 would be a devastating age. You know...OVER THE HILL with black and grey accents. My day was pretty nice. I had a very bad cold but the kids started the day off so cute. They made me homemade waffles, coffee and left all these sweet notes thru out the house everywhere....from my purse, to the fridge, even the dryer. They are such great kids !! Then my friends/family stepped in. They know Jim's away and they made sure that I had a memorable day. From flowers, to wine, chocolates, scrappy things....everyone was so awesome. I am so blessed to have so many wonderful people touch my life. At times I was moved to tears. 40 was a fabulous day....sick and all. It was still filled with love and support.
The next day was my 21 year wedding anniversary....21 years with Jim. WOW...I can't believe that at all. I remember fondly our high school years, our early navy years, All the wonderful things we have shared....the births of our children, Our first home and though he wasnt here....he was close to my heart. 21 years and I love him more today than I ever thought possible. No matter where you are....your never anywhere but right beside me. COUNTING THEM DOWN SM....
